ACTS Theatre Audition

Students auditioning for the program are expected to memorize one of the theatre selections linked below. Male students will be memorizing the selection from You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Female students will be memorizing the selection from Junie B. Jones.

After the performance of the prepared theatre selections, students will be invited back into the audition room in groups for the improvisation-based section of the audition. Students do not need to prepare anything beforehand for this section of the audition but should expect to be working together with other auditioning students during this time. Students will be working in groups to improvise a scene based on a prompt that will be given in the audition room.
