About Mrs. Graeber:

I have always had a lifelong dream to become a school teacher. Now, I get to realize my childhood dream! I am from a military background, so I have lived in several different places throughout my life. I now call Greenwood, SC home with my husband and two boys. We love it here, and plan to stay in the area for the foreseeable future. Both of my sons have been educated in Greenwood District 50 schools, and they are thriving with their learning. I want to be a part of that learning process for other children, but as the teacher! I plan to be a fair educator who shows compassion towards all of my students, but also shows a strong desire for my students to perform at their appropriate academic levels (if not higher) in a successful manner.  I fully embrace the Humanistic approach to teaching, but am willing to try what will work if it benefits my students in any way!

I am currently hold a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. But as an educator and learner myself, I plan to continue my learning at a later date. This year, I will be teaching middle school students for the first time. I am used to teaching little children, but I have good practice in dealing with older students as well through various means. I am excited and eager to meet all of my wonderful students this year, and learn and grow right along with them!
