Brewer students involved in visual art saw the show "Gullah Spirits" that featured the paintings of Jonathan Green and several Charleston sweetgrass basket makers. The show took place at the Arts Center of Greenwood. Students also made artwork inspired by African mudclothes while on the field study. Afterwards, they ate lunch at the Uptown Farmers Market.
