Brewer accounced Dr. Julia McClanahan as the 2023 Teacher of the Year for Brewer Middle School. Dr. McClanahan has been a visual art teacher for 12 years. She has been with the ACTS program for 7 of those years. Her favorite part about teaching is helping students ultiize and grow their creative problem solving skills through the visual and performing arts which can take them far in life.
