New Safety Procedures and Protocols

for Middle School Athletics

Greenwood School District 50 recently announced that upcoming middle school athletic events will follow new safety procedures and protocols for major events within the district.

The following safety procedures will be implemented for all middle school athletic events in the district:

Metal detectors utilized at entrance
Clear bag policy enforced
No congregating outside or inside the stadium

All spectators must find a seat in the stands

Portable fencing near the concession stand area (Greenwood High School only)
Middle school students must be accompanied by an adult

Elementary and middle school students without an adult will not be admitted into any games
If you do not have an adult with you, you will not be allowed to enter the game. You will be required to call a ride immediately and will not be allowed back to future events.
Students must stay with that adult throughout the entire game

All spectators must leave campus within 20 minutes of the end of game
No spectators on the field before, during or after the games
