I am excited to start my second year as one of Brewer Middle School's counselors! I have been in education for 21 years from early childhood through college. My family and I moved from Texas in 2018. I am married to Heath and we have three daughters; Mary Grace an art teacher at Clinton High, Scout Marine Biology major at the College of Charleston, and Izzy a freshman at Emerald High. Heath and I teach Sunday school at South Main Baptist Church and are high school d-groups leaders on Wednesday nights.
I believe that all students are capable of learning and that in order to learn they must have their social emotional needs met. We all have good days and bad days and it is important to have some one you trust to talk to that will encourage and support you - this includes students!
