The boys soccer team completed a 7-0 season.
Enroute to the perfect season, the boys soccer team defeated Westview, Northside (twice), Merriwether (twice) and Edgewood (twice).
"It was an amazing season that started with a 1-0 win over Westview," Coach Dean Lollis said. "From there, the momentum started to build for winning out."
"Our goal was to 'complete the journey.'"
The team is also city champs, completing the season with a 3-0 record over Westview and Northside.
The only losses for the team came prior to the start of the season. Brewer lost a co-ed scrimmage with Wright Middle School and lost a preseason game with Westview.
"The loss in the scrimmages set the tone for what would happen," Lollis said. "We knew we came close in those games and we wanted a chance to show what we could do.
