On Wednesday, March 16, 2023, Mr. Charles L. Graves spoke to the 8th graders at Brewer Middle School about his life experiences during their lunch. Mr. Graves was the first principal at Emerald High School. His speech to students focused on "Set Goals, Not Limits". Mr Graves also told about his childhood growing up down the street from the Jackson 5 in Gary, IN and working in the steel mill. Mr. Graves has been an inspiration to teachers like Mr. Creswell as well as others in the Greenwood community. Thank you for visiting and continuing to inspire our youth, Mr. Graves!
